Day 1: Arrival in Lucknow Arrive in Lucknow and check into your hotel. Freshen up and prepare for a day of exploration. Start with Hanuman Setu Temple, a significant Hindu temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Head to the outskirts of Lucknow to visit Chandrika Devi Temple, an ancient temple dedicated to Goddess Chandrika. Visit Hazratganj Market for some shopping and to soak in the local vibe.

 

Day 2: Lucknow to Ayodhya Have an early breakfast and check out from your hotel. Travel to Ayodhya (approx. 2.5 hours drive). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After freshening up, visit Ram Janmabhoomi, the birthplace of Lord Rama. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Options include Raghukul Restaurant or Hotel Shree Palace. Visit Hanuman Garhi, a temple dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Explore Kanak Bhawan, a beautiful temple dedicated to Lord Rama and Goddess Sita. Spend the evening at the ghats of the Sarayu River. Participate in the evening aarti. Have dinner at your hotel and rest for the night.

 

Day 3: Ayodhya to Prayagraj (Allahabad) Have an early breakfast and check out from your hotel. Travel to Prayagraj (approx. 4-5 hours drive). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After some rest, head straight to Triveni Sangam, the confluence of the Ganges, Yamuna, and Saraswati rivers. Take a boat ride and perform rituals at the Sangam. Visit the Hanuman Temple near the Sangam, where the deity is in a reclining posture. Have dinner and rest for the night.

 

Day 4: Prayagraj to Varanasi Have an early breakfast and check out from your hotel. Travel to Varanasi (approx. 3-4 hours drive). Upon arrival, check in at the hotel. After freshening up, visit the Kashi Vishwanath Temple, one of the most famous Hindu temples dedicated to Lord Shiva. Have lunch at a local restaurant. Recommendations include Kashi Chat Bhandar or Baati Chokha. Visit Sankat Mochan Hanuman Temple, dedicated to Lord Hanuman. Explore Durga Temple, also known as the Monkey Temple. Head to Dashashwamedh Ghat to witness the Ganga Aarti, a spectacular evening ritual on the banks of the Ganges. Enjoy dinner and rest for the night.

 

Day 5: Departure from Varanasi Take an early morning boat ride on the Ganges to witness the sunrise and the early morning rituals along the ghats. Return to your hotel for breakfast or try local eateries for traditional Varanasi breakfast options. Check out from the hotel. Visit Banaras Hindu University (BHU) campus and the Bharat Mata Temple, which has a relief map of India. Head to the airport or railway station for your onward journey in the evening.
