Welcome to the Land of the Asiatic Lions
Gir National Park is the only place in the world where Asiatic lions live in the wild. Dry forests, rocky hills, rivers, and open grasslands create a rugged landscape full of wildlife. Early mornings begin with bird calls and rustling leaves, and every safari carries the excitement of spotting a lion on the move. Gir is perfect for nature lovers, photographers, families, and anyone who has always dreamed of seeing big cats in their natural habitat.
Must-Visit Attractions in Gir
Gir Jungle Safari
The jeep safari inside the core forest area is the main highlight. Trained guides take you along pre-decided routes where you have chances to see Asiatic lions, leopards, deer, antelopes, and many bird species. Morning safaris are especially rewarding.
Devalia Safari Park (Gir Interpretation Zone)
